Learn to Sing Opera with International Singers, Conductors and Directors!
The International Summer Opera and Singing Course will be held in the Seaside Town of Porthcawl,30mins from Cardiff South Wales, from August 20th to the 29th ,2010.

The Course is open to all ages from 16 ,and will be run in two groups :

Amateur ,and Advanced.

All Students will be given the opportunity to perform in a Gala Concert at the Porthcawl Pavilion at the end of the course, with members of the Welsh Sinfonia & Piano, attended by agents and Musicians. Staff will include International Conductors, Singers and Directors.

Advanced Course
Suitable for singers who are, or have attended Music College,or have been on an Opera Course, or sung in an opera in the Past.Singers must have the ability to sing in Italian & German. Roles in Opera scenes will be allocated according to the singer's ability and voice.
The music must be learnt before the course begins.Singers can also bring with them 2 arias to work with thestaff and some singers will be chosen to sing their arias at the Gala Concert.
All students will perform in the scenes at the Concert.
Amateur Course
This course is open to all singers over 16,and will cover all aspects of singing and opera. Singers will be given parts in opera scene to work on according to their ability. They can also bring an aria to work with the staff. All singers will be given the opportunity of singing at the Gala Concert.

Jan is a sought after Accompanist and Opera Coach nationwide and in Europe.she has had an International career as an organist,playing frequently in America.Worked with National Choir of Wales, University Cardiff,and is currently the Conductress of the Treorchy Male Voice Choir,who recentley had a huge success in Australia.
