 SATURDAY ACADEMY

Junior Foundation Singing Course

at the Wales International Academy of Voice in Cardiff

It is a great honour for me to be appointed  the Director of this new and exciting course, designed to nurture young talent, and prepare them for Advanced courses in Opera or Musical Theatre.

The new course, to run alongside the existing course, for older singers, is ideal for the young singer, (15 -18) who are thinking of pursuing a career in professional singing, and the talented singer who just wants to improve his /her skills. The course is designed to improve Vocal & dramatic skills and aspire confidence on stage, while offering a huge insight into the life of a professional singer.

The course will run over three terms, to coincide with the school terms, with tuition every other Saturday, from 10.30-5p.m.,and end in public performances in Wales inthe Summer of 2014.

The singers will be coached by an International Visiting staff of Conductors, Coaches & Directors, and will work on Opera & operetta Scenes, Musical theatre scenes, Audition arias, Ensemble work and Performing skills. An opportunity not to be missed……. we hope to see you there soon!
